Let's Explore Resiliency
I enjoy walking in the forest to breathe fresh air and take a break from my busy day.
I usually refer to this as "me-time."
Today, as part of my caregiver recharge solution, I practiced yoga and focused on an object before me.
To help me balance, I used a tree to place my hand on, but if you prefer to practice indoors, you can use a chair to support yourself.
The yoga posture I practiced helped me build up my resilience and strength to cope with the challenges of my caregiver role by allowing energy to flow through my body.
Take some time to rest and recharge yourself as a caregiver: Practice the Yoga Balance below on YouTube Channel, Caregiver Burnout:
What does it mean to be resilient?
A resilient person can cope with difficult situations, even when something terrible happens.
During times of hardship, you may experience emotions like pain, grief, fear, or anger, but a resilient person keeps moving forward mentally and physically.
Resilience can manifest in four primary forms: mental, emotional, physical, and social.
A Caregiver who takes care of herself, but cares for others.
