Explore Mindfulness
I become mindful as I walk in nature, slowly engaging my senses to appreciate the beauty around me. I see the wildflowers, hear the birds, and feel the sunshine's warmth on my face. I focus on experiencing the present moment without judgment, feeling grateful for this time of self-care.
So, mindfulness is being present without doubts or fears entering your mind.
You are in the now of the moment, grateful and thankful for learning to take care of yourself.
Cave Walking with my son David.
I first learned about mindfulness through my yoga class and have been practicing it, especially when I take the time to walk outside in nature.
It's a time when I can enjoy breathing in the fresh air and become aware of how my breathing is doing that day, which also helps me understand how I am coping with my caregiver duties.
Nature is helping me to be present during my walk so that I don't fall and hurt myself.
I focus on watching where I'm placing my feet on the path, taking slow, deep breaths, and feeling the gentle wind on my back, pushing me forward with fresh air filling my lungs with love, hope, and faith.
This has made me aware of how vital self-care is for me.
So, I've become mindful of my feet, taking breaths of fresh air, relaxing my shoulders away from my ears, feeling the air open up my chest, and appreciating nature's beauty.
It allows me to open my senses, which benefit my body and mind to relax myself and enjoying moments by myself or with friends and family.
Enjoy a Walk Today
